I didn't realise this valance doesn't actually cover the whole bed base as it doesn't say this anywhere so I moved the whole super king mattress off and then opened the package and found just an edging. It does the job and I suppose, it could be considered easier to fit than a whole base cover which is what I was replacing, but I'm pleased I bought it on sale as I'm not sure it's great value for money, however the graphite colour is good. The valance is very long and I'm still waiting for the fold kinks to drop out (as I'm not about to iron it now it's on the bed).

I prefer a valance that covers the whole of the base of the bed. This is just a skirt and of course comes out when you are tucking the sheet in, unless you are very careful. Being polyester it picks up all the dust and lint. My least preferred valance, but options are really limited when purchasing valances these days. I'll be looking for a quality replacement.
